Returns
All ordered products that you receive from us have a withdrawal period of 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.

1. If you inform us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from that moment to return or hand over the products to us. You are on time if you return the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You can also choose to return the products without registration within the cooling-off period of 14 days and include a notice in the return package showing your wish to cancel.
2. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us in an unequivocal statement that you wish to withdraw from the agreement. You can use us formulaic return.
3. The shipping costs for returning ordered products are for your own account and can therefore be paid with the shipper of your choice.
4. If you choose to exchange the product, we request that you inform us in writing which alternative product you wish to receive. We may wait to send the alternatively selected product until we have received the returned goods or you have demonstrated that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first. The shipping costs for sending the alternative product will be paid by the customer.
5. If you opt for a refund, you will receive the full purchase amount minus the return costs within 5 working days after your cancellation notification in the same way you paid. We may wait with reimbursement until we have received the goods back.
6. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods, which is further necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
7. All products come with a 2-year full manufacturer's warranty.

The warranty policy is automatically in effect upon the purchase of a product from RAU readers. RAU readers provides a two (2) year warranty on its products. The warranties ensure that the products meet the standards of usability, reliability, and durability.
The guarantees do not apply in the event of:

• Theft or loss;
• Intentionally inflicted damage;
• Damage resulting from incorrect use, such as scratches, bumps or falls;
• Normal wear and tear or aging of materials used; or
• Damage due to neglect.

 The warranty only applies to demonstrable production errors.
The guarantees no longer apply if a third party carries out repair work or other work on the product without prior written consent from RAU readers.
"If a valid warranty claim can be made, and we ask you to return the product to us, then the return costs will be paid by us. If our warranty does not apply, the return costs are your responsibility. For all items you purchase from us, the statutory warranty applies. Statutory warranty means that a product is or should do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. The two-year additional warranty provided by RAU readers does not affect the statutory warranty."
